FTH17 Paulownia fortunei x tomentosa ‘Henan Hybrid’

Cold tolerant fast growing deciduous tree from northern China.  Great for shade, ornamental and timber production.  If well cared for with plenty of water and fertiliser during the warmer months the early growth will be rapid with large leaves. Later can become widely branched and displays masses of small purple bell flowers in spring with vanilla and violet-like perfume.  Well established trees can be resilient to hot weather in summer and frost in winter.
